During the last 30 years, Mr. Gruenbaum has personally taught over 8,000 students and is a nationally-recognized SAT and ACT expert. He has appeared on CBS’s Early Show and Fox National News, and his work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, Newsweek, USA Today, the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle.

At AHEAD OF THE CLASS, students only work with David Benjamin Gruenbaum – no college students, no part-time tutors. Mr. Gruenbaum is known for his novel short cuts, which allow students to not only speed up their test-taking, but often to finish training in a shorter period of time.

Mr Gruenbaum’s students have been accepted to every major college in the country (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, U. of Chicago, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Duke, Notre Dame, Cal Tech, MIT, etc.) and his students regularly are offered large academic scholarships at top-tier colleges. These scholarship offers are, of course, completely dependent on achieving a stellar GPA, high SAT/ACT scores, and applying to the right colleges.

David Benjamin Gruenbaum is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a BA in psychology and economics. The University of Chicago is consistently ranked one of the top ten colleges in the country.
